If we just think about our wonderful experience in Germany, we feel sad and we wish to be there one more time. The things that we mostly miss are our friends who we hope to meet again in the future. They made us feel at home treating us not as tourists but as people having a real desire of getting to know other cultures. The families which hosted us for a week were really friendly and caring, ready to help us in case of need. Furthermore, we appreciated their school organization and the respect for their enviroment. We loved the welcome ceremony on the day of our arrival as well as the final fairwell party!!! The party food was amazing!! This experience had enriched us on a cultural side as well because we got to know about several scientists and unique discoveries.
All this will be never forgotten and will remain in our hearts 4 ever!!!

My trip to Germany has been really emotional. On the day of our departure I was very upset as it was my first time on the plane. Once in Hannover we all were very excited about what was going to happen in the following days. The traumatic impact we had with that huge school was about to disappear when we got to know the environment and the students. The language was a big issue since I don't speak English very well, but I was helped by the Neapolitan "gesture" language. People I met were very friendly and welcoming. I was only a bit scared by an enormous dog belonging to Sean, the boy who hosted me, as I'm a little allergic to pets. I loved the trip to the Volkswagen, but the day I'll never forget was the one of the Farewell Party. Rocco, Vittorio and me had a fantastic time. We have built good relationships and with someone we meet up on Facebook.

Italian Teachers' View Point teh german Experience
Our trip in Germany was very interesting. We appreciated the general organization beginning from picking us up at the airport and leading us to the school of Vechelde.

The school was very nice and well organized with a lot of laboratories and special class-rooms; also our German colleagues were very nice with us and so hospitable.

We amused ourselves so much in participating to socializing activities in the gym; they allowed us to know and contact everybody students and teachers each others.
We knew also many students' parents who had an important role in participating to the project.
We had some doubts about the accomodation the school prepared for us because the level of the hotel was quite modest and the welcome of the owner not so exciting; but there was a positive point in all that: the hotel was nearby the school and so it was comfortable to reach the school every day especially at 7.00 a.m. for work-sessions.
We enjoined so much the visit at cars museum where we could admire many cars beginning from very ancient models until the most modern ones. We found it a very interesting place.

The trip to the places where the scientist lived and worked was very interesting; we visited very nice towns and the university but the there was not enough time to do everything and so we spent too much time in bus to run from a place to another one and we hadn't enough time for us to visit and relax.
We thank very much Vechelde mayor who invited all of us at Town Hall and appreciated our project.
Anyway the atmosphere inside the group was nice and collaborative, in fact during the long travel in the bus we had the chance to talk with teachers and students, to ask them about their school-system. Sometimes we taught them our traditional songs and the Neapolitan songs known all over the world and we learned theirs. At the end the most important thing is that we had the possibility to know people and cultures sometimes very different from ours and that was very important because we came back to Italy richer than we were when we arrived.
